The bizarre world of the bisexual

Happy Friday!

Some of you may have seen this before, but just in case you haven't....

PS: it's meant to be ironic.

The creator of this video, MisterSharp, has also done others (see Youtube suggestions on the right hand side of that YouTube page). The Homosexual Menace is particularly funny.

Unfortunately, it's true: some (still too many) heteros and gays/lesbians try to ignore/deny the existence of bisexuals because the latter threaten their own identity (with its safe "code").
[After all, a young girl (around 15 to 20 years old) who says she's bi is never taken seriously - her behavior is regarded as just another "rebel act" so typical of youngsters, and that's it.]
But is the bi's "skipping-boundaries" tendency such a threat after all? Okay, it raises the problematic question of what an identity is - it's just some new food for philosophers. (By the way, the moment when the bi girl in bed disappears is interesting.)

Sue George I think you should comment on this guy's blog since he's a bigot and biphobic like most gay men can be. He also wants to pretend that bisexuals were never involved in gay male liberation or stonewall at all rewriting history.

I saw this video at JoeMyGod.com and the replies there from gay men were typical telling bisexuals to shut up about their sexuality and claiming how we don't really belong to the GLBT community.

I also read on Dan Savage's Seattle Stranger blog his reaction to it and he got mad that gay men were being "blamed" or seen as bad people when he is VERY biphobic himself and many bisexuals and trans people (he's transphobic) refuse to get involved with his "It gets better" project.

Good God, I hardly have time to do this blog, without stepping in to deconstruct other people's biphobia!!! His comments are very bad and quite confused (I only looked at the first link). Gird your loins, readers, and have a go. Someone should. Just not me at the moment.

Personally I get a masochistic thrill out of being considered a diseased figment of someone's imagination. No, no one really gets me but I'm sure unicorns and the Jolly Green Giant find they're misunderstood as well.

Lol. I just can say that I feel ok being a bi person, and I have no problem to say it :)
